House Fire – Pine Way – Salisbury

7/26/2008 – At 21:59 Wicomico Central alerted Stations 2, 16 & 1 for a reported house fire in the 1900 block of Pine Way. Assistant Chief Records was first on scene, confirming smoke showing. One tanker was immediately requested from Station 74 (Delmar). Neighbors were attempting to control the fire with a garden hose. Engine 16 arrived and began attacking fire in the rear of the structure. A crew from Engine 16-1 began venting operations, while Truck 2 had ladder operations. Police had to be called in to control a couple of unruly people in the neighborhood crowd. Situation was placed under control at 22:28, with crews remaining on scene for a considerable time for cleanup operations. This structure was also burned the previous night, and fire marshalls are requesting anyone with information to contact them at 410-713-3780.
