1/22/2009 – Just after lunch time, Kent County EOC alerted Station 48 (Felton) & Station 50 (Harrington) for a reported trailer fire in the 400 Block of Walnut Street in Felton, DE. Assistant Chief Gary Moore arrived on scene and found light smoke showing for the trailer and established command.
Engine 48-1 arrived on scene and the crew made a quick attack inside the trailer with a dry chemical extinguisher. The crew found most of the fire to be contained to the water heater closet with minor extension.
Harrington Fire crews arrived on scene and assisted with overhaul.
Crews were on scene for approx. 45 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
