1/29/2009 – At 0144 hours, Sharptown Fire Department (Station 14) was alerted for a tractor trailer fire at Atkins Trucking on Sharptown Road. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and the situation was placed under control at 0203 hours. No damage to the surrounding trucks or building occurred.
Crews remained on scene awaiting the arrival of the Fire Marshall and cleared at 0314 hours.
