Structure Fire – Galestown, MD

3/25/2010 – At approximately 1930 hours, Dorchester County Station 26 (Eldorado-Brookview) was alerted for a working structure fire at 5603 Newharts Mill Road. Rescue Captain, Paul Dixon went out with Engine 26-1 and 4. Upon arrival he reported a fully involved 2 story story wood frame structure. Officer 26-1 (Dixon), established Newharts Mill Road Command.

Crews from 26 and the surrounding area battled the blaze for about 45 minutes before beginning an extensive overhaul. Crews remained on the scene until around 2230 hours.
