Animal Rescue – Lee Haven Road – Easton, Md.

2/19/15 – Talbot Center dispatched Station 60 (Easton) and Paramedic 96 for a dog fallen through the ice at the end of Radcliff Manor Lane. While units were responding Talbot Center advised the best access would be from the property at the end of Lee Haven Road. Tower 61 requested Station 40 (St. Michaels) be added to the call. Units arrived on location to find a yellow lab approximately 250 feet off shore. Two firefighters from Station 40 entered the water and were able to successfully rescue the dog. Once it was back on shore the dog was transported to a local animal hospital by the Talbot County Humane Society and was reported to be in good health.
