8/29/2011 – While traveling north bound on Route 301 Monday afternoon, a tractor trailer struck the guardrail where Route 301 crosses over Route 290 and then ran off the road. I came up on the accident minutes after it happened. The driver of the truck advised his trailer was empty and he was not injured.
Kent County dispatched Station 3 (Galena) for an MVC involving a Propane Truck on Route 301 in the area of Route 290. Units remained on the scene for several hours while the truck was removed.
