4/4/2009 – At approximately 6:10 PM Queen Anne’s County Station 8 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro) and Paramedic 400 were alerted for a 10-50 PI on Rt. 309 in the area of Horse Shoe Road. Upon arrival Chief 80 (C. McNeil) established command and reported one motorcycle off the roadway. After evaluation of the patient, aviation was requested. The patient was transported by Trooper 6 to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. At 6:50 PM command placed the situation under control and released all units. The accident is being investigated by the Maryland State Police.
