5/18/2009 – At 5pm, Wicomico Central alerted Stations 1 & 16 to a reported MVC with Rescue. The accident occured US Rt 50 Westbound at the crossover for US13N off of US50E. One patient was trapped in a black Honda Accord. Crews from both departments used Hurst tools to cut the supports and peel the roof. The subject was freed in about 15 minutes.
Units Responding: Rescue 16, Squad 1, Engine 1, Paramedic 16, Paramedic 1, Asst. Chief 1 & Deputy Chief.
