12/13/2009 – Around 3:30pm, Wicomico Central alerted Salisbury Stations 1, 2 & 16 to a reported apartment fire just off Emory Ct. Command arrived on location to find smoke showing from the 502 building of Parkside Apartments. An apartment on the top floor of the 2 1/2 story brick building was damaged, along with water and slight smoke damage to neighboring apartments. The situation was placed under control in about 30 minutes, with crews remaining on scene for an extended time for smoke removal. No injuries were reported.
