5/13/2012 – At approximately 5:10 AM Queen Anne’s County dispatched Talbot County Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro), Station 50 (Cordova), Paramedic 400 and EMS-3 for an MVC with rollover in the area of 2113 Starr Road.
Chief 80 (C. Morgan) arrived on location to find one vehicle overturned in the field with both occupants self extricated and Officer 803 (C. Morgan) established command. After patient evaluation Paramedics requested Aviation. Command requested Engine 54 secure the LZ at the Armory in Queen Anne. One patient was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore by Trooper 6 and the other patient was transported to the Memorial Hospital at Easton.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Maryland State Police.
