5/26/2008 – At approximately 12:00 PM Wicomico Central alerted Salisbury Station 1 for a Motor Vehicle Accident on Westbound Ocean Gateway and the entrance to the Rt. 13 Bypass. Crews arrived on scene to find a two vehicle MVC with one vehicle in the ditch in the woods. Once on scene command called for an additional ambulance for patient care and transport. Rt. 50 westbound along with the entrance to the bypass were both shutdown for approximately 40 minutes.
