Working Dwelling Fire – 211 Coon Box Road – Centreville, Md.

6/23/2009 – At approximately 9:20 AM Queen Anne’s County dispatched Station 4 (Goodwill), Station 5 (Church Hill) and Station 3 (Queenstown) for a dwelling fire at 211 Coon Box Road. Prior to the arrival of Chief 4 (R. Schelhouse), he was advised of a possible entrapment. Paramedic 40 arrived on location and reported a single story, wood frame structure with heavy fire showing. Upon the arrival of Chief 4, Officer 401 (R. Schelhouse) established command and requested a 2nd alarm.

Engine 41 arrived on location and did a quick knock on the fire and a primary search was started. After the search was complete, no one was found and all occupants were accounted for. Due to the Fire Marshall’s request, all overhaul and salvage was put on hold until they were finished their investigation. Once the investigation was complete extensive overhaul began.

Command was terminated at 11:59 AM
