Search and Rescue Drill – Hillsboro, MD

5/2/2010 – Today Talbot County Station 80 (Queen Anne-Hillsboro), Caroline County Station 400 (Ridgely), Station 600 (Greensboro) and the Department of Natural Resources conducted a Search and Rescue drill at a wooded area on Horse Shoe Road.

Three different searches were conducted, allowing an officer from each Station to establish command and their members carry out the search. Each search was lead by the tracking dogs from the DNR and once the patients were located, EMS crews did an evaluation. After stabilizing the patients they were loaded onto the Gator and transported out of the woods to a waiting Ambulance.
