10/9/14 – At approximately 11:15 AM Talbot Center dispatched Station 60 (Easton) and Station 50 (Cordova) for a subject pinned in a piece of construction equipment by a fallen tree at 9697 Goldsborough Neck Road. Chief 61 (S. Jones) arrived on location, reported an excavator with a tree on top of it with the operator pinned in the cab and Officer 601 (S. Jones) established command. Crews worked to stabilize the tree so they could extricate the patient and Aviation was requested. Once extrication was complete the subject was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by Trooper 1.
